Framing the dialogue between humans and imminent global issues has two facets. First, individual awareness and second, collective action. Through a system of anchors and modules, our design catalyses both. Because of the free standing nature of the bench, we invite users to move their seats around for individual contemplation. On the other hand, each bench module can be linked to the prismatic anchors and grow into different forms, creating collective spaces for conversation, while maintaining a safe social distance. Hence, the anchors are not only fixed markers for the wandering benches, but also meeting points for social connection, conversation and thus, unity. It is this unity that progresses human understanding toward vital issues, and dictates our collective action.
