Room, Raum, Rum
For the second project at the Harvard Graduate School of Design's program "Design Discovery," we were tasked with designing a room functional at two different orientations, and two different scales. My room took on a subtractive form, and utilized poché and apertures to control, bend, and shape light in the space.
I used the spatial principles from this project to approach the final project of the program - a civic center & planetarium in South Boston. The civic center also included a bike destination to serve the local community, featuring an indoor track, repair, and storage area.
